Music is the international language of love. Three distinct voices on the Los Angeles scene today: Lorraina Marro, Maryanne Reall and Mitchell Long will take the audience on an international journey from Acapulco to Paris to Rio de Janeiro with their soulful and unique interpretations of songs honoring the roots and authentic beauty of the Latin, Brazilian and French cultures. Joining the vocalists for the evening will be first call Los Angeles jazz musicians: Matt Politano on piano and melodica, Max Kraus on acoustic bass and Aaron Serfaty on drums and percussion. Come and experience the power music has to bring us joy, inspiration and passion, but most of all, the power it has to bring us together!

Lorraina Marro, a superior vocalist and an inventive lyricist, was honored as one of L.A.’s Jazz Living Legends in 2015. Born and raised in L.A., Lorraina Marro has made her mark as a classy, sophisticated and talented jazz vocalist, who is passionate about her music and committed to interpreting songs in her own style. In 2017 she formed a latin group, Dos Divas, as a tribute to her mother who passed in 2016. She has performed her own shows at The Metropolitan Room and Danny's Skylight Room in NY; and at multiple venues in L.A., including Feinstein’s at Vitello's, The Catalina Jazz Club, The House of Blues, etc. She’s also performed in Las Vegas at the Four Seasons, The Aladdin, and The Las Vegas Hilton Hotels. She has recorded two cds: You Must Believe in Spring and Mixed Emotions. Lorraina Marro has a powerful voice; her vocals are warm, smooth and sultry. She blends together jazz, Latin music and R&B in a very expressive style that is all her own. (www.lorrainamarro.com)

"Lorraina Marro displayed a joyful and powerful voice that consistently delighted the audience." (Scott Yanow, L.A. Jazz Scene)

"The world would be a much better place if everyone had a chance to experience the heartfelt soulful singing of Lorraina...brightening up their lives, bringing joy and warmth to their spirits!!!" (Debra Graf - Sleepless in Studio City Radio Show)

Maryanne Reall - Whether it's jazz, blues, a French tune or a sly “tongue in cheek” pop tune, critics, fans and musicians agree that Los Angeles based vocalist Maryanne Reall has a distinctive way of taking you on an intimate adventure with her innate musicality, warm mellifluous tone, subtle caressing of each lyric and tastefully selected repertoire. Her most recent project is a homage to Billie Holiday she calls “The Lighter Side of Lady Day”. The critically acclaimed show enjoyed a long-term engagement at the legendary Gardenia Lounge in Hollywood and was described as “an atmospheric gem that will awash you in nuance and flavors of Ms. Holiday herself”. With an eagerly anticipated 2nd cd project in the works highlighting her affinity for all things “French”, Maryanne and her band continue to create an atmospheric gem of music and ambiance throughout Southern California and beyond. “Captivating and at ease with well disguised fortitude similar to Blossom Dearie . . . her version of the song ‘LaJavanaise’ was exquisitely sung.” (Chris J. Walker – L.A. Jazz Scene)

“Maryanne Reall is not your Gardenia variety of All That Jazz. She takes charge of her material with zest and originality . . . any way you spell her name, she is the real deal.” (John Kalish, WeHo Patch)
